Your Co-Pilot Can Build Other Co-Pilots

Most people try to force every task into their main co-pilot. That works until the domain drifts too far from the original context. The cleaner move is to have the co-pilot itself design and generate a new, specialized one.

The Prompt Pattern That Works

The process is simple and repeatable. You describe the domain and the job. You ask it to design the best project structure for that job. Then you load the files it produces into a fresh project and start working.

Here is the prompt pattern that works:

Give background. State what you want the project to do. Then add this line:
“Consider the best project design that will accomplish this. Generate the project instructions, the guide if needed, and a document I can load answering any questions it might need. Build it now.”

In practice that produces three things: the project instructions, a short guide if the domain needs one, and a profile or Q&A document that captures the assumptions. You create a new project, paste the instructions, drop the other files into context, and you are running.

A Real Example

One of my members used this for vehicle restoration and race builds. He described the work, the need for diagnosis, cost tracking, and prioritized solutions, plus a requirement for clickable links to diagrams or videos. Sixty seconds later he had the files. He loaded them into a new project and immediately fed it a short phone video of an engine with the valve cover off. The system stabilized the frames, measured lift and timing between rockers, and ruled out the cam lobe he suspected. The actual fix turned out to be an injector. Time and cost were both far lower than a full teardown would have been.

Where This Works

The same pattern works for cooking systems, home repair tracking, landscaping plans, client delivery playbooks, small-business operations, or any other domain that sits outside your main work co-pilot. Keep the specialized project separate. Do not load its files into the original one.

You do not need a two-week setup. The system already knows how it was built, so it can generate a working version from a clear description.
